Dualing Subs

This is probably a stoopid noob question, but I have been dreaming of doing a DIY sonosub to go with my existing sub. My AV receiver (onkyo 504) has a LFE-out RCA jack, so would I just "Y" off of that and cable to each sub? Is there any other way to do it to 2 individually amped subs?

Thanks for playing.;)

Y off is correct. There are other way like having a sub control. I prefer the Y method

If the two subs are to be near each other, I'd run the Y off one of the subs, that'll shorten the amount of cable needed.
