SOLD!!!I already have another upscaling dvd player and I need to find room for my next new toy so i am selling my beloved Oppo 970-HD .
It has all the latest firmware updates and the hdcp free removal hack as well to upconvert via component video and hdmi.
3 months old used for like 2 dvds per weekend.$130.00 shipped

    I love my Oppo for sure , but since my toshiba can do double duty My wife says it has to go.

    Lowered to what? I was looking at these at the oppo site and they seem to be going pretty cheap...does this have upgrades from "store" model that add value? I thought you had pulled this add??

    No offense...I didn't know if the price in the first post was the old or new price, and I discovered there was a second post on this which you must have deleted. I'm still looking at all the reviews on this unit including the never ending thread here. It would help to know how this unit compares to the one you can buy off the Oppo site. Thanks a lot. Mike

    It came from the oppo site and it came with All the updated firmware and it is in new condition,
    I only used it a max of 12 times and there is not even a scratch on it,
    The reason I am selling is because my toshiba can do what I need it to and I like the HD-dvd format.

    Lou, sent you a PM, because of THIS I don't have the funds available to do this at the moment.

    I can't believe that someone else doesn't want this. Guys this is back up on the market as I had to back out.

    Lou, as I mentioned in PM, if it's still here (and it shouldn't be) when I get my mess at the bank straightened out and get some money back in my account I'll take it off your hands, it would make a great DVDP for the bedroom.
