    Just my two cents worth. I had to read this carefully to even know what it is. I am not sure that everyone immediately knows what BD is and I was guessing. The model number alone does not tell me what it was...but I am not as obsessed/knolwedgeable about this stuff as some.

    Guess people are still gun-shy about next gen players. I put one of my on sale on Craigslist for a good price (HD-XA1) and didn't get any bites.

    I'm gonna do some research on this model and maybe it will spark my interest. My original plan was to get a PS3 for BluRay so I can play Tiger Woods golf on it.

    Alright, last offer I'll make here and then I'll move on with it.

    Samsung BDP-1000 Bluray Disc player $335 shipped + the 2 movie that I'm offering with it + I'll give you a copy of my receipt and the original UPC from my new player for the 5 movie mail in offer. That's 7 movies with an average price of $25 each = $175 worth of Blu-Ray movies for free, or you can look at it like your paying $175 for 7 BD movies and $160 for the player. That's the best I can do, if hasn't sold buy sunday I'll take to E-bay.

    what do you have in mind? I have several items I could trade, including anything in my sig of equal or lesser value (so, not the MF), or, potentially a nice NAD receiver, or some spare parts (old preamp, old processor).

    I'd like to jump into BR, but it would have to be a really good deal to get this instead of waiting for PS3s to come down in price later this year.

    well, off that list, I have speakers (but not shippable), a couple two channel amps (Carver TFM-6CB stereo amp, bridgeable, 2 sets of speaker outputs; NAD 2240PE), a NAD 712 stereo receiver (works great but bulb seems to have burnt out), and possibly a NAD T752 SD DVD changer (awesome sound), maybe a NAD T743 receiver.

    Let me know if any of those catch your eye. I'd be willing to do trade(s) and/or trade + cash to make it work.
