Rti12 Bi-Amp
Ok, I’ve basically confirmed that my Onkyo M-282 powering the lows on the Rti-12's barely budge them. This is fine, I bought it to later pre-amp my rears when my basement is done. So I need something to power them. I've been reading a lot here about Barenger and Outlaw. I'de like to keep it above 200 Watts and stay in the ball park of Id say no more then $750. thx once again for the info!

So you are looking for a 2ch. amp for under $750 to push the RTi 12s? There are many options......Sorry, just trying to simplify...If you are staying HT, I would go for a 5-7ch. Amp, just or future upgrades, in case you want to step up later or move into a place where you have more room for a HT...Amps generally maintain value better than speakers...You can get a lot for $750-$1000, Sunfire, NAD, Adcom, etc.....I would go 5-7 channel amp, mostly because I wouldn't want your fronts to way outrun your center and rears....There really is no substitution for quality amplification IMO....An awesome amp will be with you for a long time....
