Freebie turntable

I have no idea if this is something someone might want but I have a Yamaha P-700 turntable that I'd love to find a home for if anyone is interested.
It's been a long time since it's been in use but I do remember that it did have a little rumble in the action back in the day. I'm in Charlottesville (22903) and anyone that's within driving distance it's yours.

This place has been a great resource for me so nice to be able to give something back. I've had the thing sitting in a closet for years and glad it can find some use.
If it's not too big a hassle for your dad to pick it up that would be my preference. Since the cartridge I have on it is busted (shoot ... forgot to mention that in my post ... let me know if that changes your mind) I can't warrant anything other than the fact it turns on and spins so would prefer for you not to have to pay me anything for it. Don't have any reason to think it won't play with a replacement cartridge but I don't have one so ....
See if you can PM me ... what's the post count needed to do that? Is it 15 or 25? If you do that I'll give you a contact phone that way if not I'll post an email here. It's no hurry to pick it up if you definitely want it but I will be around most of the weekend. My office is in Crozet so that's an option on most weekdays as well. -
Here's a picture of it. Think it was about the middle of their lineup when I bought it way back when. The dust cover is around somewhere but I think it's pretty scuffed up .... probably look ok if you used some plastic polish on it.
