OK this question is targeted to the guys who have experience with long, and short IC's of the same type. What sounds better with these 2 scenarios.

1 Tweeter amp. What sounds better long or short?
2 MW amp. Same question.

A very respectable friend here recommended 2 Meter long IC's over the 3 foot verities. I need to know which is better if made up from the same cable construction. I have also read that speaker wires should be at least 8 feet long.

Thanks for your input
Ben

Medium length is perfect. Don't screw up or it will sound awful.

    +1 to PThuggy...
A bit too short or a smidge too long and you could lose your soul.
I never had it like this where I grew up. But I send my kids here because the fact is you go to one of the best schools in the country: Rushmore. Now, for some of you it doesn't matter. You were born rich and you're going to stay rich. But here's my advice to the rest of you: Take dead aim on the rich boys. Get them in the crosshairs and take them down. Just remember, they can buy anything but they can't buy backbone. Don't let them forget it. Thank you.Herman Blume - Rushmore

Thanks guys. When I was real green at this I thought that the shorter the better. Then I hear go long. When you get to this point things really start to make a difference.
