So i'm finishing some minor touches on the amp rack, and I've finally wired and tuned the speakers to my taste. Right now, the c400.4 is powering the mmc6500, mmc525 and mmc690. The last two items (mmc525 and mmc690) are sharing the same 2 channels (for a 2 ohm load). Now for the mmc6500, right now they're just wired in single mode. I was thinking about using the two channels (for the 6500's) at a 2 ohm load so the speakers are using dual input and receiving a little more power. Is that a good idea, or will there be no difference?

As always, I appreciate the help.

You cant do that without a 2nd set of MMC6500's.

The "double mode" youre talking about is for bi-amping when you would use the front channels of the amp to run the tweeters and the back channels to run the rear. Hooking them both up to the same amp channels wont change the impedance at all.
