polk fxi5 sold in pairs only?

Are these speakers only sold in pairs? I have a 6.1 surround system and was going to use two sides and one rear.

    I would go with a 5.1 system and drop the rear channel. I was never very impressed with 6.1, and I'm not overly impressed with 7.1, although it seems to be growing on me. I've always been amazed at how little improvement there is going from 5.1 to 7.1. A good 5.1 system gets you about 90% there!
