Zu Cables - Excellent customer service

Whenever I come across a company that I feel goes beyond the call of duty in looking out for their customers, I find it necessary to share my experience with others. In this case, the company would be Zu Cable/Audio.
Very recently, I've been mixing up my interconnects and cables in an attempt to find the right synergy with the rest of my rig. Running across the company of Zu Audio, I found an affordable option that offered a 60-day money back guarantee -- so why not? So I layed down the coinage for a power cord, some IC's, a pair of speaker cables and some jumpers.
After introducing everything into my system and allowing for a couple of weeks of burn-in, I found them to be just what the doctor ordered. Smoooooth. But a review will come later...
The problem was a combination of the terminations I had chosen and the binding posts on my speakers. After speaking to Ty of Tyler Acoustics on the phone, he suggested I go with 1/4" spades. So I did. Bananas on the cables. Split nanners and standard spades on the jumpers. However, the nanners wouldn't stick and the spades were too small.
Long story short... I contacted Sean at Zu Audio inquiring as to how much it would be to reterminate the speaker cables with oversized spades and to go with another set of all-banana jumpers. Keep in mind, the problem wasn't with their product, but rather with the misinformation regarding the size of the binding posts.
Anyway, jumpers are replaced no charge. And speaker cables will be reterminated no charge. Absolutely stellar customer service in my opinion. And as I alluded to previously, everything sounds phenomenal in my system. More to come later....

I never had it like this where I grew up. But I send my kids here because the fact is you go to one of the best schools in the country: Rushmore. Now, for some of you it doesn't matter. You were born rich and you're going to stay rich. But here's my advice to the rest of you: Take dead aim on the rich boys. Get them in the crosshairs and take them down. Just remember, they can buy anything but they can't buy backbone. Don't let them forget it. Thank you.Herman Blume - Rushmore

Sweet, that's awesome!
I'm especially glad you like their product, because I've been thinking about going with them for my next round of IC's.George Grand wrote: »

That is what good service is about. . .just that will bring in tons of new customers when the word gets out! I would rather pay someone a couple of extra hundred dollars and get great CS than get a real bargain and be on my own if I need after sales help.
We need a review ZB!
