I want to order a Quad of 7591 tubes for my vintage Fisher 500C. Is there any big difference between the JJ Tesla, and the Electo-Harmonix?

The reason I want new ones is because music starts to have a "fluttery" output when the volume get's even a little high. Especially on the right channel. The current tubes are GE, but one pair looks different than the other.

EH has more authority in the bottom, where JJ excels in the mid-top. If I remember correctly, all NOS 7591's are Westinghouse, no one else made this tube. So, yours might just come from different years. I suggest you to swap the tubes of 2 channels to see the problem follows. If so, you are sure the problem is from weak/bad tubes, and new tubes are indeed needed.
