Rti8 with RC1070/RB180

any warnings before i connect these up, i am picking up the RB1080 this weekend, sales people been telling me "things" like i might damage my speakers if i use the 1080, do ya'll think so, there's no such thing as too much power right? Apparently these are only for use with a reciever, i dont think this is true but ya'll can correct me if i sound like i'm smokin somethin.

    Sounds like your salesman suffers from a severe case of stupid. you will be fine man, in fact you may like your RTi's even more after you hook that up...
