CONTINUOUS POWER OUTPUT PER CHANNEL
BOTH CHANNELS DRIVEN 8Ω, 20HZ-20KHZ 50W
SINGLE CHANNEL 4Ω, 1KHZ 100W
DISTORTION 8Ω, 80% POWER, 1KHZ 0.005%

What does "SINGLE CHANNEL 4Ω, 1KHZ 100W" mean? Can someone explain this lingo to me from Arcam's website.

I'm making an offer on Audiogon and need this info. fast. Thanks.

Doesn't it mean that power output was measured at specific frequency (1KHz sine signal)? So 100 Watts if fed into 4-Ohm load, and 80% of 100W (i.e. 80W) if fed into 8-Ohm load.

Quit worrying and buy it already. It's a great amp.
