What sort of difference am I to expect from Polk's Monitor 70's and Polk's RTi10's?
Both are in my price range, and both have exceptional reviews..
I'm 80/20 (HT/music), and I will be adding a SVS cylinder sub in the future.

I'm still pretty new to home audio but you have 2 very different speaker sets there...
The Monitor series are polk entry lvl speakers. All the components are on par for speakers of that price range. The RTi series on the other hand are Polk mid-lvl speaker line. You are getting better cones, better (real wood) cabnents, Polks' Power Port
I have demo'd both speaker sets in the store I work at and although the M70's are great speakers, they just cannot compare to the RTi 10's. The 10's have a richer more fuller sound.
Also keep in mind that the 10's are going to require more power to be effective. If you are planning on running a seprate amp, I would lean toward the 10's.Television: Mitsubishi WD-57732
Front R/L: Polkaudio RTiA7
Center: Polkaudio CSiA4
Rear R/L: Polkaudio FXiA4
Subwoofer: Polkaudio DSW600
A/V Reciever: Denon 2808
DVD/SACD: Sony Playstation 3 -
