I liked it but was it good...? Hmmmm. The Surfer was awesome and I was entertained...but was it good....? It was way better than Spider Man 3. I will say that - but that was garbage.:p

Ok. I will go out on a limb and say ......

No. Actually I forgot to say that I thought that it was much better than the first one which I thought was a bit of a turkey.

I saw it with my 10 y/o today and I must say I was pleasantly surprised. It didn't seem to last forever as most of the movies I've seen lately do, and I was left with the "I got my moneys worth" feeling. Overall I'd give it a 8/10 for the genre that it is.

I'm glad you said that; it gives me hope for this one. I thought the first one was boring as hell, but I always thought it had the potential for a good sequel.
If you will it, dude, it is no dream.

Now I am at a quandry. I thought Spiderman 3 was decent (a bit like two movies put together) and see the previews for the Fantastic Four and think "this is going to be stupid". So I wonder if since I liked spiderman will I then Hate or Love this Surfer dude?

Looks like a renter to me. No need chancing it. My risk taking days are over.

Well I grew up on FF and absolutely loved the whole Silver Surfer storyline so I was familiar with the back story. That may have increased my enjoyment but even my roommate liked it and she is not familiar with FF. She's more of a Green Lantern Girl.

She and I both agreed Spiderman 3 was HORRIBLE. A waste of celluloid.

I cook, clean, very handy around the house and, living with 5 other females for the last few years, take verbal abuse very well. On the down side I do have fleas and not completely house broken.

I haven't seen it yet, but I believe he is. The ads seem a little misleading, but maybe I'm wrong and they've put a different spin on the character. That being said... does Galactus make an appearance in the movie. He is a "world-eater" after all. And they keep alluding to any planet being destroyed within "X" amount of days of Silver Surfer arriving (who is always there to defend against Galactus).

Am I providing spoilers even though I have yet to see the movie?:D
I never had it like this where I grew up. But I send my kids here because the fact is you go to one of the best schools in the country: Rushmore. Now, for some of you it doesn't matter. You were born rich and you're going to stay rich. But here's my advice to the rest of you: Take dead aim on the rich boys. Get them in the crosshairs and take them down. Galactus is like over 100 ft. tall when at full power, 30ft. tall when weak. I hope they diden't put him in the movie, he can take out the whole planet...
