Hey need some feedback on 2.3's how much they are worth and were they stand compared to the others. ( SRS and SRS1.2 etc) These are sopposed to be in excellent condition.

I just don't know much about them.

I own a pair and I think they are excelent speakers. The SRS and 1.2's can be an overkill for most room. Plus, you should be able to get the 2.3's for about $700 to $1,100 depending on condition.

I kind of thought that these are under that already, but I have not seen them. they are supposed to be in excellent condition.

I am thinking that I might through out a low ball price for them. andmake it contingent on seeing them and see what happens. I'll just be out of the time and cost of fuel to go look at them.

I have the 2.3's with upgraded tweet's and me and the wife
are simply floored. They were given to me by my brother in 1993.
They sat upstair's unused and not appreciated until we started listening to them after the kids moved out some six months ago.
A whole new experience for us. I learned about about the
tweeter upgrde on this forum. It's a must do. i cant believe they made it through those years as the kids grew up in that jungle up there. Not a flaw on them. GET EM !!!

Carl is right on the money with the value,$700-1100 is pretty average.

I am thinking of putting them in my surround system, as fronts with my SDA 1C's, how would they compare to the 1C's

I will be sellings a set of LS 70's, LS/FX's and some ls 50's if anyone is interested. I'll post an add later.

I used to have a pair of 1C's,but sold them,my bad...

The 2.3's have a little better bass responce, and little more pronounced in the mids and highs.

I think you could say that the 2.3's have a little "bigger" sound to them.

But,my thoughts are the SDA line is made for music...and music only:D

I will be picking them, either Thursday or Friday, another 100 miles each way but worth it.

I am now going to sell my LS 70's and LS/FX, I also have a set of LS 50's the need the vinyl put back on but are in excellent condition. They are the ones that the front screens all the tabs broke. Dumb idea by polk!

Wow, who said you can't get a decent sound out of them for HT, you better try them again. I went two channel and played some dire straits incredible.

Yes I will most likely sell the 1c's in about 10 years, but I am willing to start a waiting list if you are interested. ;)

He told me he has been recieving calls the last two days offering to pay full price and more. I called him when I was about ten minutes from his house, He was a decent guy and said the deal is a deal. so if any of you are tyring to get them I did pick them up.

    Hi Dave,
Congrats on the new sda's. I would love to hear a set of the big sda's. Any chance of a get together and check them out. I have only heard the sda-2 that I have and a set of sda-1 20 years ago. What do you want for the LS-50's? Thanks. :)
