The idea's been around for a long time, I don't think they've solved the problems yet.

That's been around for a while. They must not be selling for them to be reducing the price by $5K, they've used a picture of Keith Jarrett on their home page in the past.

IIRC it's actually completely analog, it just doesn't work very well.
