Is this going to be enough to power the lsi7's effectively?

The A-35R is a cool amp for small rooms. A number of guys around have tried it. It all depends on how loud you like to listen.

loud enough to be clear and present. I like to hear the music not just be loud. I'm very happy with this integrated.

Get more power. Try a Harman Kardon 3480.

for my 2 channel yes. I chickened out of buying my 5.1 lsi system. We just bought the house and the baby is still young so I put it off for a year. So I decided to start this budget 2 channel rig. With the Lsi7's I'm still going to be under 550 bucks. I was just hoping that this pioneer I bought from andy in fm is going to be enough to power these babies effectively. If not I have a line on a couple NAD integrated amp in the area pushing 150 watts at 4 ohms. But I love the sound from this pioneer, the sound is very forward and present.

when I go 5.1 with the LSI's I'm going to get the 15's, lsic, and another set of lsi7's for the rear. Unless I go lsifx for rear. But I'm going to wait cause when I start building the 5.1 I was to get Sunfire seperates to power them

all depends on listening levels. I had a $160 gainclone that was 50wpc 8ohms and 68wpc into 4ohms running my LSi7s for over 9 months and never once thought power was an issue. Hell I threw it into my main rig just for kicks and it performed admirably only distorting during a peak at reference levels.

Good equipment doesn't have to be expensive to sound good.

I think the Pioneer is great for what it is; an inexpensive, good looking, smallish integrated. . . perfect for a little bedroom / office bookshelf system. For $125 or whatever, it's an awesome little piece. Even the headphone output is solid.

You might try it on the 7s on it, but I'm not sure long-term there would be better options. I actually sold it and got a new HK 3480 in anticipation of running some Lsi 7s or 9s in my bedroom soon.

I don't think it would hurt to try it out.
Stereo Rig: Hales Revelation 3, Musical Fidelity CD-Pre 24, Forte Model 3 amp, Lexicon RT-10 SACD, MMF-5 w/speedbox, Forte Model 2 Phono Pre, Cardas Crosslink, APC H15, URC MX-950, Lovan Stand
Bedroom: Samsung HPR-4252, Toshiba HD-A2, HK 3480, Signal Cable, AQ speaker cable, Totem Dreamcatchers, SVS PB10-NSD, URC MX-850

I'll run them for a bit off it but as I said I dont know what I want for my permanant piece. I just wanted that pioneer cause the price was right and it powers what I have very well right now. what I do know is I want to get a tube integrated (straight tube or hybrid) and I'm pretty sure its going to be a jodida. I see that 100 wpc hybrid on the gon for under 500 all the time but it has no phono which sucks the bag
