I have a chance to get a Martin Logan Grotta for $700 signed sealed and delivered with warranty from an authorized Manufacturer NEW IN BOX.

It's either this or a Totem Storm for $750 NEW plus shipping.

I have Lsi15s & Totem Rainmakers hooked up to a NAD C272 amp fed by a Rogue Audio Metis Tube Preamp and a Oppo HD981 (Signal Analog II Interconnects)

I'm told either sub will mesh well. I'm leaning towards the Grotto . . . . you?

Never heard the Storm, I've owned the Grotto and it is phenomenal.

An installer I know said I should go with the Storm for more synergy, but it seems many peope use the Grotto with exceptional results depsite not owning MArtin Logan speakers.

The installer doesn't know WTF he's talking about...

My sentiments exactly . . . I think he just wants to sell me a more expensive sub. He's upset I found the Grotto cheaper with someone else.

The Storms are beautiful. My girlfriend hates the way the Grotto looks. GAF is important in my apartment. Thanks for the good review Zero.

I used to own the Martin Logan Dynamo, which is two steps down from the Grotto--I loved it. Very fast and musical.

A buddy currently owns the Grotto and it's very impressive, even in his huge open room.

I remember that Chris! You demoed it to me and Cherian. Nice sub the Dynamo is.

And to think, the Grotto is even better.

Exactly Joey. That little thing was impressive. I wouldn't hesitate buying the Grotto...then again, never heard the Storm.

Hearing the Rainmakers makes me hesitate to consider anything outside the design of Vince at Totem.

I"m getting the Totem Storm . . . my girlfriend somehow managed to find one and buy it for our anniversary. This is a huge feat as she can't even find the power button(s) on my system.
