I currently am am using 12 guage wire for my fronts and center speaker. But I am using 22 guage speaker wire on my surrounds. I am going to be purchasing 12 gauge for my surrounds and wanted to know if bending the speaker wire will damage it. The reason I am asking this is because I currently have the speaker wire going around the doors (home theate in bed room). This isnt a problem right now because the wire is so thin and flexible and since the 12 guage is thicker it is not as flexible. One the left surround I have the door that goes into the room and then on the right surround I have the closet door and and the door that leads to the garage and I also have a back surround. Any solutions?

You can bend it. You might notice a slight increase in sound level depending on how long your runs are.

Nope.~ In search of accurate reproduction of music. Real sound is my reference and while perfection may not be attainable? If I chase it, I might just catch excellence. ~
