    Any quality amp that makes at least 700 watts RMS at 2 ohms mono.

    he can get away with like 500 x 1 @ 2... although I agree with you mac, 7 to 8 is more "on the money". depends how loud you want it. amps are cheap enough though.

    That should work. Its also big enough to overdrive those subs, but so long as you take use common sense with the gains and the volume, itll push them just fine.

    i think its overkill.... i mean, ya, it'll work, but you're gonna plunk down what that thing costs just to push a couple db's ? unless you're gettin a screamin deal, i'd pass

    It goes back to that other thread Vinny - If you can afford the bigger amp, youll be better off having the extra headroom in reserve so long as youre careful.
