They look exactly like my RT-16s, except for that (apparent extra tweeter mounted on top???)

I emailed and he said these are the same as when he bought them and the model # is RS 16. huh?! anyone have a clue?

    They are the model RT16. A powerhouse of a speaker with great bass and the asking price is close to average. I wonder if the bi-wire clip is on his speaker terminals.

    I have two pair of RT-16s, and thought the same, but apparently those things on top are permanent and wired into the crossover. my guess is it is a DIY mod that sounds like crap.
