I'm so sorry Ben. My grandmother passed away three weeks ago at the age of 88. It may sound cliche, but know that she had a good life.
I never had it like this where I grew up. But I send my kids here because the fact is you go to one of the best schools in the country: Rushmore. Now, for some of you it doesn't matter. You were born rich and you're going to stay rich. But here's my advice to the rest of you: Take dead aim on the rich boys. Get them in the crosshairs and take them down. Just remember, they can buy anything but they can't buy backbone. Don't let them forget it. Thank you.Herman Blume - Rushmore

    Ben,

    My condolences.

The loss of my grandparents, then my parents and then my children, specifically my son, asking "Where did I come from?", started me down a path to answer that question. That was over 10 years ago.

The specific question has been answered in full as reasonably possible. Now the question has arisen that is along the lines "what happened to all of these cousins that has been found too?"

I only regret that I did not think to ask these questions while my elders where alive. My children surely thought to ask them.

    My condolences.

My only remaining grandparent is my 86 year old grandmother. She told me last week that she wished the Lord would go ahead and call for her. It's comforting to me to know that she's ready...as your grandmother seemed to be.

Also sending prayers for a safe drive back home for you.

Well, I just pulled off the impossible by doing a double-blind comparison all by myself, purely by virtue of the fact that I completely and stupidly forgot what I did last. I guess that getting old does have its advantages after all :D

Well I am back home. I drove to CT from GA, then to RI, back to CT, to GA, then to mid FLA, and back home. I had a blow out at 80 with right front. Pretty scary. Then I got a ticket for going 82 in a 65. The cop was pretty cool and dropped the ticket to $185. That really sucks, but it is better than $465. I will be back on track soon. I am going to sleep all day tomorrow.
    Thanks again for the prayers.

Nice to hear you came back safe and it is however very unfortunate for the ticket. I hope you can now relax for a while and take care of your health. My prayers are still with you for health solutions and improvement.

    Cheers!
