Sorry if this has been posted but couldn't find it on search so anyways...
Polk's website indicates that when bridged, the C300.2 gives out 450w but the PDF manual of the amp indicates 550w. Which is correct?

or whatever it says on the birth sheet (if it has a bridged spec, i don't remember... in any case, the actual power is often more than the spec... spec is 150x2, mine is 180x2)It's not good, very fundamentally simply not good. - geolemon

MAC:
drat! was hoping it'd be the 550
NEO:
Yep i hear the birthsheet indicates around 180x2 but it doesnt indicate the power given out at 2-ohms or bridged as was considering this amp to power a sub.
Anyone got a link to a professional review or something by any chance? -
this quote is from the product page:
“Well, this amp sounds great, and is almost indestructible, as befits a member of the Polk/MOMO family. Considering the quality of the sound, the fit/finish, and the reliability of the C300.2 I’d say this amp is a keeper.” - Car Audio & Electronics
you could probably track down the issue if you wanted to, not sure if they keep online versions posted (i'd look in early 05 to begin with, expand from there... don't hold me to that date, though)It's not good, very fundamentally simply not good. - geolemon

That was the April 2004 issue of CA&E. Thats the same one that has the badass Polk Civic in it.
In that test, it made 507 watts at 14.4 volts.polkaudio sound quality competitor since 2005
