Anybody own this unit or are familiar with it? If so, which would you choose to drive LSi's?

Refurb Audio Refinement Multi-5 $1250
vs
New Rotel RMB-1075 $900

Both are 5 channel, 200W@4ohms amps.

The Audio Refinement gear is first class, nothing against Rotel, but given the choice, I take the AR. It's French labled YBA - and anyone familar with YBA gear knows how hard core it is. The dude does AMAZING things in his power supplies for example - things you can actually hear AT the listening chair.

    Cheers,
    Russ
Check your lips at the door woman. Shake your hips like battleships. Yeah, all the white girls trip when I sing at Sunday service.

I have to put the AR on my list. I need something to take care of the HT end. I have actually been keeping an eye out for a used 1075.

    Differences worthy of HT only?

    Thanks,
    Mike

PS where do find the refurbs--never mind found it
