Here is page from vintage "Monitor Reference Series Loudspeakers" Instruction Manual. I could not get the original manual open on polksda's website, although a later manual with many of these specific model numbers did open. If you compare, you will notice that even for the same model, like the 10B, the earlier model is heavier and has higher efficiency. I haven't checked all the speakers, but several of the newer versions are a few pounds lighter and usually have lower efficiency. You've probably noticed that most ebay sellers take the specs from the Series II and use them no matter what series they are selling.

I'd like to pass the manual on to polksda for his website if he is around.

Use a nice, clean 150 wpc amp and don't look back or use one of those Jolida 502 integrated tubes that Mark puts up from time to time on the Flea and you'll be smiling like a butcher's dog!
