6510 Driver for an 11t

    Welcome Raiko. The original 6510's show up from time to time on ebay. Otherwise you can order a new replacement from Polk Audio. Click the contact link at the top right and mention that you are a Club Polk member when you call. The replacements look different but play the same. If you watch your speakers sans grilles you may want to order more than one to match, if that matters.

    Hi Polk65,

    Thanks for the welcome. I've actually been a lurker here for a while but have not posted until now. Great source of info here.

    I thought of purchasing the replacement 1603's from Polk but became concerned after a couple posts here claiming distortion and a slight mismatch between the 1603 and the 1610. So, I thought of trying to find a good 1610 either here or on ebay. I would use the 1603 if I was sure there wouldn't be any problems and I could just screw it in place and fire up the speakers.

    So, I guess I'll look for a 1610 for awhile and if I can't find one I'll give up and get a 1603 and hope for the best.
