Dude, Optimus Prime is going to go deaf that close to the speakers. He is definitely not in the "prime" listening area. Looks great, man.

    Looks great Sid...
    That amp sure looks familiar:)
I never had it like this where I grew up. But I send my kids here because the fact is you go to one of the best schools in the country: Rushmore. Now, for some of you it doesn't matter. You were born rich and you're going to stay rich. But here's my advice to the rest of you: Take dead aim on the rich boys. Get them in the crosshairs and take them down. Just remember, they can buy anything but they can't buy backbone. Don't let them forget it. Thank you.Herman Blume - Rushmore

I have the same CDP as Sid and I love it. I would not hesitate one bit at going for that CDP/dock combo.

Room treatments really focused and controlled the sound...

The speakers do not get in the way of the sub ;)

    And the Shanling is phenominal!

Love the entire setup, I just want more power and another sub. haha

    Thanks guys

Well he Optimus Prime, as you can see is kind of leaning in --- he is cowering at the destruction of his ears...

He adds a nice reverb though... haha

The TV is fairly new --- Mono Blocks will be arriving in the coming weeks.

I really want room treatments, the wife and I are supposed to make our own once we find material we both agree on.

Room treatments make a subtle difference --- wasnt what I was expecting...

But its the biggest subtle difference. See - in my room, in the center staging, around the vocals it sounded congested - like ALOT was going on, but there wasnt... Sounded "confused"

Putting the panels up REALLY cleaned this up. I think I need some more panels behind the speakers in the corners to really finish it up - but thatll be a lil later.

(Subs and Amps are far more exciting than panels... lol
