Mine started as a trail name when I was hiking parts of the Appalachian Trail. I was reading the LOTR trilogy for the first time, and really took to Aragorn, aka Strider.

Zombieboy 2000 was my nickname in high school when going to all the local punk rock shows. Usually ZB2K for short. "Zombieboy" because I was really into zombie movies. And "2000" because at the time, the number had this sort of retro-futuristic flair (ala Buck Rodgers) that people liked on the scene.

refefer... dunno, my hands go all over the keyboard...

mine comes from a latin dictionary... 'neo' meaning young, and 'magus' because it sounded cool and meant wizard (i was 11, give me a break). the 00 is aim's fault.

note that the matrix came out _after_ i picked this name...

Nickname from college. I've tried to use other screen names, but this one is NEVER taken, so I can register it anywhere. If you see a Shizelbs on the internet, or gaming online, thats me. So, I like it for that reason.

I like to buy old, but in excellent condition, BMW's because they last a long time, are a kick to drive & are inexpensive. That made me a bottom feeder and the term followed me into audio. I've got 2 vintage pieces of gear for which I paid very little & they're in excellent condition - a Sansui TU 517 tuner & a pair of RTA12C's. The rest of the gear is pretty new, but entry level in the hi end world. An NAD C320Bee & an NAD C520Bee.

By the way - GREAT THREAD!!!
