Where did you get the idea for your screen name from?

Mine started as a trail name when I was hiking parts of the Appalachian Trail. I was reading the LOTR trilogy for the first time, and really took to Aragorn, aka Strider.Wristwatch--->Crisco

Zombieboy 2000 was my nickname in high school when going to all the local punk rock shows. Usually ZB2K for short. "Zombieboy" because I was really into zombie movies. And "2000" because at the time, the number had this sort of retro-futuristic flair (ala Buck Rodgers) that people liked on the scene.I never had it like this where I grew up. But I send my kids here because the fact is you go to one of the best schools in the country: Rushmore. Now, for some of you it doesn't matter. You were born rich and you're going to stay rich. But here's my advice to the rest of you: Take dead aim on the rich boys. Get them in the crosshairs and take them down. Just remember, they can buy anything but they can't buy backbone. Don't let them forget it. Thank you.Herman Blume - Rushmore

mine comes from a latin dictionary... 'neo' meaning young, and 'magus' because it sounded cool and meant wizard (i was 11, give me a break). the 00 is aim's fault.
note that the matrix came out _after_ i picked this name...It's not good, very fundamentally simply not good. - geolemon

Nickname from college. I've tried to use other screen names, but this one is NEVER taken, so I can register it anywhere. If you see a Shizelbs on the internet, or gaming online, thats me. So, I like it for that reason.

Disney because of where I live close too it. Joe because like some of us didn't use our really name when we started in forums here or others. The 7 well its been years but I think 1-6 was in use already. I'm use know as Goofy8 around the world as Disney couldn't be used as a screen name.
All in all feel it's stupid now.

I like to buy old, but in excellent condition, BMW's because they last a long time, are a kick to drive & are inexpensive. That made me a bottom feeder and the term followed me into audio. I've got 2 vintage pieces of gear for which I paid very little & they're in excellent condition - a Sansui TU 517 tuner & a pair of RTA12C's. The rest of the gear is pretty new, but entry level in the hi end world. An NAD C320Bee & an NAD C520Bee.
