I am currently running a Yamaha RX-V2600 and just recently replaced my entire Klipsch Synergy series HT with the RM50T setup per Polk's advice with the addition of 2 RM101's as surround backs, my question is my Yammie has configured the RM302 as large and therefore is sending a full range signal to it. Should i run it this way or should it be set to small? I am a noob but am trying to get a better understanding of how my system works and what is the best setup. I appreciate any input.

Do you like what you hear when set to large? I'd recommend small but try both and see how you like it.
I have a Yammy HTR-5760 running an LSi9 for a center set as small, using an Outlaw Audio LFM-1+ for a sub. I prefer it on small but my setup, speakers, receiver, sub, and room size are different from yours.
Oh, welcome to the forum. -
I have your set up except I'm using their RM20 speaker package (a RM202 for a center speaker, two RM 202's for the fronts) and a Denon amp. I've got my center channel set at large. My room size is 12' x 13'. I'm quite happy with my set up and don't plan to change any of my settings.Be gentle, I'm new to all this...

Thanks for the input, I changed the center to small last night which seemed to send more input to the sub and lessened the liveliness of my tiled living room. I guess my problem is this; I had a friend tell me about ISF calabration of my 50' plasma, I made the changes using an Avia disk, at first I did not like what I saw, as my eyes became accustomed to the new settings I went back and looked at the originals and saw very clearly that the new settings showed much more detail and were superior to any setting from the factory. So..... my point is we are accustomed to what we know and had i not been schooled about TV setup I would never have known the difference. Being that all things are subjective, how does my lack of knowledge and experience with audio affect my Ht setup? I will continue to post updates on the changes I make in hope of helping others who are looking at this very steep learning curve. Thanks again for the input.

Fatchow you were right on the money! Having the center set to small made a huge improvement! I am going to try it out with my Omar Hakim DTS disc this weekend, I will add results soon. I appreciate your feedback.
