alright i was thinking about buying one of those MTX ThunderForms for my '01 Ford Explorer.. but i thought why couldnt i build one of my own?? i was just gonna take some ruff measurements off the enclosure that was originally installed in my truck (premium sound?). now im not sure if anyone has done this but i have a 12' MM124 already and i would hate to have to sell that, so i was thinking is there a way i could put that 12 in my panel? i think i could manage to get this to fit i just dont want the coil bouncing off the cover ya know? if anyone has any ideas or has done this before please give me some input.. thank you.

As long as there is enough room I don't see why not. I once built a custom enclosure for a 92' Camaro for 2 12"ers it filled the well below, came up to just under the rear of the hatch, and slightly over the flat portion. The box was angled forward, and with the space between the seats and the box I made an amp rack. The top of the box and the amp rack were covered in black carpet and butted up against one another for a seamless look. Like I said, as long as there is enough area, even if you have to make a funky shaped box you will be fine.
