I was wondering, RTi/LSI
Hey guys,
Anybody ever tried putting LSI tweeters into the RT series. As far as I can tell their the same diameter. I keep seeing reviews about how the LSI series has such great imageing and highs which are somewhat missing from the 800's. I have only had my 800''s for about 6 months, am overall satisfied with the sound, love the looks but have heard the LSI's and like the high end better.

Ask Hunter.....Check your lips at the door woman. Shake your hips like battleships. Yeah, all the white girls trip when I sing at Sunday service. -
The Vifa XT tweets are 4OHM and would have a different crossover point to blend in with the Mid-range. If this would still work, you can buy them online for about $64 each. The hand made labor intensive Scan-Speak version can be had for $450 each."The only way to get rid of a temptation is to yield to it."

Dam that's pretty...........but I think I would be inclined to go with the LSI 15's before I would plunk down that much for a pair of tweeters. As fas as Ican tell you can purchase the LSI line tweeters at polk.Your system is only as good as your weakest component...!
