    There are many folks that don't consider Polk high-end.
    CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

    Polk doesn't have enough of a "gizmo" image; for instance, none of their lines offer helium driven drivers, do they ?

    plus he doesn't show pictures of his LSi9 speakers.. they may be trashed..

    "a few minor cosmetic problems" that could range from a small slight scratch.. to a broken grill, to tear in the surround... so vague.
