Hey all.
My sister called me last night and wants to get a basic 2-channel system. She is near Charlotte, NC.
I told her I'd check here to see if she could get a decent deal on a pair of speakers. She wants relatively small, I'd say RT55i size is the largest. But not TOO small, because she isn't planning on getting a subwoofer. She'll mostly just be listening to music as she putters around the house or reads, stuff like that.
I've got her looking at the Onkyo TX8211 and Denon DRA295 receivers (she may want phono, which nixes the Denon). She is also getting a DVD/CD changer and a cassette deck.
I think around $300 is the top price, and of course anything less than that is gravy. Anything greater than that would have to consider what shes getting ....
Thanks. She is ready to buy, so if you have any speakers that interest her the deal could probably be done in a week or two. She is very busy so I can't guarantee same day deal.
Thanks.

I know you said small, but if you scroll down there's some 600s for $279. I've never dealt with them, but they have a 90 day warranty.
