Does anyone have any thoughts on the Emotiva MPS-1 power amp. I am thinking of adding it to a Denon Avr 4306. Would there be any difference in sound quality?

I am not sure about:
High efficiency Class H power amplifier design, minimizes power losses and allows cool operation.
I tend to like A or A/B if I am going to spend alot.engtaz

THere are many members here who have very good things to say about Emotiva amps. Maybe Louthewiz or someone, if I remember correctly, is a huge fan.
Hopefully someone can chime in. I have no experience, but I would guess the Emotiva would at least be a mild improvement. What type of speakers are you running currently with the Denon? If you have high efficiency, 8 ohm speakers, probably not a huge difference.
If you have inefficient and/or 4 ohm speakers, would probably be at least a noticeable improvement.
Again, I am only guessing based on what I've read on the forum.Stereo Rig: Hales Revelation 3, Musical Fidelity CD-Pre 24, Forte Model 3 amp, Lexicon RT-10 SACD, MMF-5 w/speedbox, Forte Model 2 Phono Pre, Cardas Crosslink, APC H15, URC MX-950, Lovan Stand
Bedroom: Samsung HPR-4252, Toshiba HD-A2, HK 3480, Signal Cable, AQ speaker cable, Totem Dreamcatchers, SVS PB10-NSD, URC MX-850 -
I was also looking at emotiva amps online a few days ago. The class H was kind of a turn off but I read over at AVS that the amps are pretty good. Google the amp model youre inquiring about or check it out over at AVS.Shoot the jumper.....................BALLIN.............!!!!!
