I have the PSW350 sub and it has worked fine for me but I am looking into building a replacement enclosure. What quality is this setup? mainly the subwoofer.

Compared to what? Is it worth $100-$200 - sure. Would I consider it a nice sub for home theater - no. (then again, I wouldn't consider any sub in that price range a good HT sub.)
Michael.
You can build a nice sub for not alot of money, but I would not use any pieces of the PSW-350. (except MAYBE the amp) Enclosure is tuned to high and the sub does not have the size or excursion to move alot of air.
If you have the pieces and want to move forward though - good luck to you, let us know how it goes.

Is the speaker better or worse than this one?

Possible have a buyer for the psw350 for $120 or $140. Thinking of buying the Bash 300s amp, and that sub. I will be building the box myself will I end up with something better sounding or no? -
Probably better, but I'm not 100% sure.
I do have a DIY sub and I'm impressed with the results.polkaudio RT35 Bookshelves
