The demo was released earlier this morning! If you are a fan of racing games especially rally racing you absolutely most try out the demo. The visuals are fantastic and the feel of the cars is even better.

I know I keep posting a bunch about games in here but in case you didn't notice I am a game fanatic plus I moderate a technology forum so I am constantly being fed the latest news. Haha

glad you're a fanatic, mute. i'll have to download this when i get home! of course, this is the game i mistakenly blamed forza over about the internet gaming and not being able to race against other players. you race against each other's timeslips.

dirt has some pretty awesome graphics! i'm diggin' it. but i doubt i'll buy it. prolly just throw it on my monthly blockbuster video rental game card. and as far as not having the ability to race against each other head to head on live, i can see it's a bitter-sweet notion. first, it's no fun not to be able to see your opponent. but on the other hand, it would really suck to get into a race and have an opponent play demolition derby instead of racing! only played a few minutes, but all three courses. i digs me some drift action!

I thought it was pretty cool, too

I think the problem with the multi player is that the real rally races don't race head to head either...they race on time from point to point

I played the demo last night. First off, I love how you can download demos off live marketplace. Its just so simple and brilliant. It works great. Its an awesome feature.

Anyways, I am in love with this game. Since I have the wheel already, I figured, I should try the demo. In the past, I have really disliked off roading games. This one is incredible though. The graphics are amazing, and I was VERY impressed by the styling of the menu system leading up to the race. I really like the presentation of the stats while the race loads. I understand there will be no true versus online play, and thats fine, cause this game looks marvelous.

Alright, been playing this since Tuesday. I stand by my earlier comments. The gameplay is outstanding. The graphics are great, also they are native 1080p. And most of all, the game is just a lot of fun. It offers a good amount of variety. You're always racing a different kind of vehicle, which will handle differently, and also a different type of race, so unlike other racing games, you don't get as tired of doing the same thing over and over again.

If you have a hard drive, you simply MUST, at the very least, download the demo.

DAMN IT. been waiting for blockbuster to get this for rent. i'm sure it's worth owning, but my **** ain't payin' $26/month to blockbuster for nuthin'.

in fact, i haven't touched my 360 since the day dirt was released because i've got a hankerin' for dirt and nothing else and bb doesn't have it yet. and now i've just about lost interest in video games due to the wait. i'm weird like that.
