Calling All SDA Owners

By far the most incredibly stunning performance on SDAs I've heard so far is,
QUEEN; "A Night at the Opera" All of Side 2, yes this is the side with Bohemian Rhapsody, 21 foot soundstage, 6 to 8 feet deep. Absolutely incredible. I played the MFSL LP. It was like I heard it for the first time.
I first listened to Abbey Road, then Eldorado (ELO) and was really on a roll then this just blew me right into SDA Heaven. The a cappella of the first track was so realistic.
This was an eyes closed, all night, speaker disappearing act.

I love how music can brighten up a bad day. -
Regards SnowWell, I just pulled off the impossible by doing a double-blind comparison all by myself, purely by virtue of the fact that I completely and stupidly forgot what I did last. I guess that getting old does have its advantages after all -
let me try this post again....I noticed Snow was online and it's about 4:20 alaska time? Anyways, I always wanted Bohemian Rhapsody at my funeral since I am Bohemian. Maybe we need a thread on songs we would want at out funerals.... just to remind us of our mortality despite the ownership of all this powerful audio....

I am enjoying it Bud. I can't pull myself away from my rig at times. I go in, clean a record get it spinning, close my eyes and I'm lost in the music. A couple of times the stylus hitting the label jumped me out of the trance.
I also tweaked out the turntable yesterday. . . my wife helped me out. We actually had a good time together doing it. -

I want my jukebox full of party music playing at my funeral -
I have in my will, a corrugated $100 box in an unmarked grave. Any music can be hummed if anyone cares to do it. Once my body ceases I don't really care about the funeral.

I want this song for my wake: http://38.161.195.8/CD.mp3
Not when they're carrying you to the grave. The pallbearers'll drop you flapping their wings. -

That Mercyful Fate is some really dumbass stuff. King Diamond is one scary individual. I think he really believes what he sings. I wouldn't even call it music more like screeching from the depths of hell. Definetly not my cup of tea, nor a 13 year olds.
Useless mindless crap that has no relevence or authenticity. Panders to the lowest common denominator and ends up being so farsical it mocks itself.
Of course this all IMHO."Appreciation of audio is a completely subjective human experience. Measurements can provide a measure of insight, but are no substitute for human judgment. Why are we looking to reduce a subjective experience to objective criteria anyway? The subtleties of music and audio reproduction are for those who appreciate it. Differentiation by numbers is for those who do not".--Nelson Pass Pass Labs XA25 | EE Avant Pre | EE Mini Max Supreme DAC | MIT Shotgun S1 | Pangea AC14SE MKII | Legend L600 | BlueSound Node 3 - Tubes add soul! -

I have to change my will cause I told my wife that I wanted the 1.2 tL box to be used as my coffin while the other one plays "My Way" by Frank Sinatra!!! The only problem with the coffin is that I need to loose about 100lbs. -
Yes I sleep very little neil lol. And yes we have lots of sun here now. The amount of daylight ranges from 21 hours, 49 minutes in the summer (June 21, Summer Solstice) to 3 hours, 42 minutes in the winter (December 22, Winter Solstice). Right now the sun is shining in my eyes.:D Winter kinda sucks though if your a sun lover. heres a pic took a week ago at 3:14 am
