These were purchased at a Tweeter’s store a little over a month ago and I have decided I no longer want them. I bought them from one of the stores that closed so I am unable to return them. They have not been registered on the Polk site and I have the original receipt. I am asking $680.00 plus shipping for them and am open to shipping suggestions. I don’t have a clue as to what company to use so I will take your help with that.

I did open them to make sure they were the correct color so if I need to post a picture, let me know and I will figure out how to use the digital camera. Also, if I’ve not done posted correctly, let me know. I would prefer a USPS money order but will take a check which will have to clear my account before I ship them. Thanks so much for looking and... I hope someone wants these!

Forgot to add this. If anyone decides they are interested, please post here. I feel that will be a fair way so as not to cause any problems. Again, if you have a suggestion on a better way to do this, I am open to them. Thanks again!

So this purchase is backed by the Federal Reserve of F1Nut up to $100,000?

Cindy, in all honesty, you price is about a Franklin over current market. 9's are going for $550-$600 around here lately - just FYI.

    Cheers,

    Hehe.....

I'm vouching for the seller, not the price.

    Thank you Jesse!

Russ, this is too much even though they are new? I kind of had a feeling when no one asked about them which is fine. Of course now I feel bad and not sure what to do.

    Thanks,

    Cindy

You could lower the price, if you feel they are worth more ower them a bit or stick to your guns. Or your last option is to keep them.

You could list them on Audiogon or Ebay. Or you could sell them local on Craigslist.

Cindy, I don't think it's too much - I think it's a steal for that speaker. The MARKET thinks it's too much.

CraigsLIst is usually good for these types of deals. It's not a steal of a deal for informed buyers, so I don't think you'll get quite what you're asking here or Agon.

But, a nice post on CL with pics, and a write up including their MSRP ($1500 or whatever), and letting them know you got a killer deal but can't use them, might find a good buyer.

But, beware scammers on CL. If you post something for over a couple hundred bucks, you'll get a lot of scam attempts. Don't do anything but an in person meeting, in public, for cash if you sell on CraigsList.

I buy a lot of used stuff and my view it is new or it is used. Within reason, I would buy something a year or two old and pay less than something a month old and pay more. If I am paying close to new, I will just buy new and eliminate all doubts as to quality. That's me. As someone who just tried to sell a 5 channel amp that is a month old, there is also some suspicion about such a quick turn around. At least you got a testimonial here!

Well, the market on Audiogon right now is asking $800.00 for a 9/10 pair and these have to be 10/10 as they've never been used, so I think $680.00 is very fair.

$800? I love Audiogon and their inflated prices. Maybe I will go to Tweeter and fill my trunk with a few pairs of LSi9s myself. The ones here are going for pretty cheap with all the stores closing.

I don't think anyone was poo-pooing cindy's deal, just letting her know why they weren't flying off the thread like other items occassionally do.

Is this a FS thread or a debate thread?
"Appreciation of audio is a completely subjective human experience. Measurements can provide a measure of insight, but are no substitute for human judgment. Why are we looking to reduce a subjective experience to objective criteria anyway? The subtleties of music and audio reproduction are for those who appreciate it.
