what do you have pushing them, and how big are the boxes?

i have a power acoustic sl2-2000, which is running about 370w to each and the boxes are about .9 cubic feet. i was thinking about a front firing box to get some exta space and monting depth

Well if that's .9 cubic feet sealed, then the boxes should be fine. I had one of these subs receiving 350 watts and it sounded excellent. I'd just make sure that the amp setting is tuned correctly... and give em some time to break in. These subs take a while.

Ooooh I couldn't say. But if I had to guess I'd say around 10 hours before I started hearing quality bass. It was too "muddy" at first. That estimate is quite the shot in the dark, though. It could be off. I just remember about 2 weeks after I installed it, I was really happy. Don't try to get too much out of them at first. Play it safe
