I am getting tired of getting broken woofers from Ebay. Typical crap. Bad packing, and rough handling.

That sucks
When I replaced my two locked up 6500's in my SDAs, I just bought new 6503's from Polk directly. Good price, and the best packing...Ludicrous gibs! -
Really sucks...
I am looking for some MW6501 for my RTA-12C. Might have to forget Ebay and see if I can get a set here instead -
I would never buy used drivers anywhere other than this forum! Eff ebay crap.

yes and yes
The seller told me to ship them back, and he would give me a full refund. I also opened a claim with UPS, but there is no insurance.Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. its always nice when a seller takes responsibility for it but sucks when half of them don't offer the option of insurance at all

My project SDA's require 32 MWs, and at $48 a pop it would cost to much for me to do. So I have been buying used ones for about a year now. The grand total of dead ones is 9 now! Please. I don't think he would even offer it if he didn't plan on refunding. Most of the dirtbags on ebay fight you without offering refund. You would want the chance to see the damage before giving a refund, true?engtaz

Yeah I don't know if I should send them back for a refund, or battle UPS for 2 new ones.Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. hey, you can't always blame UPS for broken equipment... blame the seller.. he obviously didn't pack em right. I just bought two MW6500's from an ebay seller. both arrived perfect. excellent packing makes or breaks a deal for me.PolkFest 2012, who's going>?
Vancouver, Canada Sept 30th, 2012 - Madonna concert  -
Ups has smashed every outside box that was sent to me(think goodness for double boxing). I personally heard them drop my Velo CHT150 from a shelf in their truck and ding it.engtaz

I use UPS all the time and everything they send has a base insurance value of $100.00
I just sent (4) SL3000's today to a CP member and I didnt add any insurance because it comes with $100 worth by default.
But it can take up to 6 weeks to get a check from them.
Let's not get "insurance" mixed up with declared value. UPS & FedEx have declared value NOT insurance. I sent a product that was very, very well packaged by FedEx with a declared value (I thought I was paying for insurance) of $550 and they broke it. Well they broke balls and turned out they only paid $77 for the parts to repair the item which the fella who purchased the item from me fixed himself. I had the same thing happen with UPS.
When I went on my rant about having "insured" the product for X amount of dollars both companies told me that it is not insured, it is a declared value. So they can pursue other measures than paying up.
The friggin post office is worse. You pay insurance on an item and they just don't pay!!! -
probably should get stuff in writing and have the manager of the place sign it lol let him take the **** for it. but seriously ups sucks they either come late in the day or come early with a damaged package! a equalizer i got on ebay was packed pretty well thankfully but arrived with a big **** dent in the box i'm glad the same guy i got the eq from went overkill on the receiver took me a half hour to unpack
-
I have a mailbox at my local UPS store. I go there twice a day, One in the morning and once at night to pick up my mail and packages. They are there all day signing for my packages, I never have to stay home and wait for anything!
it costs me around 56 cents a day for that service.
When I ship expensive items I have them do it, it costs me more money but the stuff is insured. They are susposed to make sure that the package is packed to meet or exceed a certain requirement that UPS wants.
If damage occurs UPS will pay for it, they are fillings claims all the time.
Well you've had better experience with them than I had. -
whats sad is i've had better luck with things shipped via USPS Priority than UPS Ground Air Overnight or whatever the hell they have the packaging shouldn't always have to be perfect the carriers should however be TRAINED to handle our packages with more care .. sure if the shipper decides an egg carton a grocery bag and a water damaged box he found in his basement is protection enough thats his fault but if its packed to the best of ones ability there is no reason things should get broken

Offer a sacrifice and double box, these are the only options.
