Sanyo DCA 411 & FMT 611K Worth Fixing

Thanks for looking, I bought these today at a yard sale fairly cheap and was told they worked but you guessed it no sound from the AMP. I have tested the tuner and it works fine. Just wondering if the amp is worth fixing? They look almost new and came with the manuals. I was not sure what I was going to do with them but they sure look nice. All I get out of it is a HUMMMMM and pop when I turn it on. A + B act the same. I opened it up and nothing looked burnt there was one place I could check guessing the cap said 50w+ and 50w- both read 41w+ and 41w- Other than that I really have no clue what I am looking for. Thanks for any help. How can I find some local to look at it? Not going to take it to Circuit City or anything like that. Should I be able to find someone that will look at it for free? without charging $25 or so just to look?
