CS350 Crossover schematic

Any CS350 owners out there want to help me? I'm looking for someone who is willing to pop the back plate off their speaker and take some pix of the crossover and/or make a schematic of it for me.

The crossover schematic that you need is right here. Follow This Link and scroll down to post #4. The CS350 schematic is there as a pdf file. Save it to you computer and print it out. Good luck! Tell us what seems to be the problem with your CS350?

well i dont actually have a CS350, i have a CS245 with two 5" drivers in it and i have 2 extra drivers and i want to build a new speaker with all 4 in it, so i would essentially end up with a cs350 with 1 inch larger speakers.
i think it will match up better with my rt1000p towers. the cs350 and cs1000 are rather old these days, if you find one its very expensive and has countless hours of usage on it. i think this will be a cheap easy solution to improve the center matching my mains for now until i can afford better speakers down the line.

any thoughts or help would be appreciated.

I'm not sure where your located or what your budget is, but I have a CS400 that I'm looking to sell.

I don't think you have the post count to respond to my sale thread, but stick around, make some contributory posts, and if it's still available, it might be a good match with your system.

Yah im on the fence and not sure what to do about the upgrade idea, it turns out the extra speakers i can get are not the same as the ones in the cs245, they are the ones in the R40 speakers and i am not sure if they would match well.

I realize now this is probably in the wrong forum and i should have posted this in the DIY forum, so maybe a moderator could move it...

the CS400 would probably be my next best option, i guess it really would sound good with the rt1000p mains, the cs1000 is just so hard to find and so expensive.

yeah cs1000s seem to be rare. . . and strange. A center with subs?!?!

Anyway, let me know if you decide on the CS400 as mine is in very good condition and a seemingly fair price.

makes sense to me, you have subs in your mains. i think i saw on paradigm website they have a whole line of centers with varying size downfiring subs.

I wouls roll with that cs400 before going through the trouble of building a cs350, and this coming from a fan of the cs350.

also, using a 350 crossover with 2 extra drivers on your 245 might not sound right, since I believe the 5 1/4 drivers from the cs350 are different from the drivers of a cs245. different t/s params would mean a literal crapshoot as to how they will sound with a 350 crossover.

actually the cs350 has 4" speakers, i just meant i would build the same style of speaker with 4 larger drivers and a tweeter.

either way i just got home and talked my wife into letting me buy your cs400. she is from dallas and her brother lives there and can pick it up or any of her several other friends that live there can. i cant respond to your thread yet cuz i never posted here only read messages. i will email you and try to get your phone number to him and make arrangements to get it, you have paypal? i can paypal you or him the money either way.
