Is anyone else having this problem. Do I have to choose? It means swapping out cd players depending on what mood I'm in. Is it worth it.

Yep. Just pick one. You can always change tubes to suit different tastes, but changing CDPs is a bit much.HT/2-channel Rig: Sony 50 LCD TV; Toshiba HD-A2 DVD player; Emotiva LMC-1 pre/pro; Rogue Audio M-120 monoblocks (modded); Placette RVC; Emotiva LPA-1 amp; Bada HD-22 tube CDP (modded); VMPS Tower II SE (fronts); DIY Clearwave Dynamic 4CC (center); Wharfedale Opus Tri-Surrounds (rear); and VMPS 215 sub

Two schools of thought:
1. Use the set that leaves the music closest to it's original form
2. Go with the pair that is most pleasing to your own ears.Review Site_ (((AudioPursuit)))
