well i my former hate for microsoft is slowly coming back i ship them my 360 and another one comes back in its place (havent got yet but they changed the serial number) which pisses me off why cant they fix a little problem? i mean surely they have enough experience after the hundreds of thousands of bad consoles(maybe not that many.. knowing microsoft, more) then customer service is NEVER any help.. so anyway who here who's sent their console in for repair had a bad experience with the returned console? i.e 3 red lights immediately or other problems (maybe just retarded customer service guys)

my current horror story is that i'm still waiting for my 'coffin' in which to return my 3 ring carcass to m$. sure, it's only like the 4th day since i've called them, but that's just 4 more days i'm having to do without my call of duty 3 and hd dvd action.:mad:

i think it is pathetic how many consoles fail HORRIBLE quality control no other console has EVER had this many problems .. makes me want a PS3 even more.. how many people here have went through multiple repairs?

I got the best one of all. How about I sent in my first console, the idiots freaking lost it in the department somewhere. And now they tell me my own tracking info is invalid. Needless to say I have not received a new one yet. And yes youre right, MS customer service is the freaking worst. Im not against foreigners of any sort, but half the people there that answer the phones have accents I cant understand at all. I ask for the supervisor and the idiots say they will call back with an update and never do. **** MS, I gave up. Excuse my lingo, this has been since November mind you, still a very sore subject for me. Being the hardcore gamer I am, I bought a new one out of pocket, if this one **** the bed Im done. PERIOD.Shoot the jumper.....................BALLIN.............!!!!!

Hold on here...you sent a 360 for repair, they lost it, and you are still without one? WOW...1)That blow's, 2)M$ really effed you on that, 3) I am sure ps3 looks better and better for you.
Seriously do you call them everyday...one day a week? How often are you on them? Second...is M$ out sourcing to India? Is there another way you could call M$, and talk to someone in english? Man I really feel bad for you. -

I called and called and called. Sometimes to what seemed like everyday. Finally got to the point where they said we dont know where it is and they asked me if they received it. It went back and forth so much I wanted to kill someone in there. I dont know where the CS is based out of, but the lingo barrier sucks. I bought a new Xbox out of pocket just because I need a system, I mean I'm fortunate enough to be in a situation where I can. But what if the next person is in the same boat as I am and just cant fork over the money for it. MS Xbox support sucks ****. They seriously need to fix it.Shoot the jumper.....................BALLIN.............!!!!!

everyone who's reading this thread please post if they've had to send a xbox in for repair i'm curious if good experience outweighs the bad . and it sucks about your console man if i were you i'd threaten them tell them you'll seek legal action(you'd win) if they don't send you a new console my guess is you'll see a new console at your door within a week .. and i'm all for outsourcing customer service but dammit get people who speak proper english.. they're friendly but just annoy the hell out of everyone.. i wonder.. when an indian guy calls them do they get pissed off or is that like a good day for them?

I called in on a Monday, get the coffin exactly on the following Monday, turned it around within the hour, back to McAllen, TX. They received it on Thursday, shipped it back on Sunday/Monday picked up, and got to me on Thurday. Total time from calling time: 18 days, including weekend.

whats sad is they send back a refurbished console why cant they just create a stock of new boards and just replace them in our old case.. use the refurbished consoles for store demos or used console sales .. half of the problem is well.. we get back someone elses problem.. i heard a guy say once "when you get your console back keep the box it'll go bad again soon" what i wanna hear also is stories from anyone had any problems with the console they received back? the way i've always looked at refurbished goods is that one part of it took a crap already so something else must be ready to blow in it

breath, wolf!...it's only a console. relax, is not the end of the world. 'Njoy the game when you get back your console. I am actually happy to get a newer built machine. Assuming that MS QC'ed the outgoing consoles properly, you'll be fine. The box that I get is very clean, look new to me.I am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. I am sure you do. lol i know its just a console.. but its a $400+ investment that should work for years .. not take a dump in 5 months.. microsoft really needs to fire the quality control guys put their consoles through more extensive testing before boxing it up

Nebraska Furniture Mart screwed me i BOUGHT the replacement plan and they're saying it don't start until microsoft's warrenty ends (cuts up NFM credit card) anyway i got A console back today it works fine but i doubt it'll stay that way its older than the one i sent in
