mmc6500 biamp question

I am running a pair of mmc6500 & I am thinking about biamping them. Theyre rated at 125 watts rms & im currently using a 100X2 watt amp. If i buy a 4 channel amp, do I need a 100X4 channel amp or do they require less power, say 50X4, since each will have its own separate channel?
