Have you seen the flush mount grill?
It looks mush more...discrete and clean. The metal grill looks cheesey and I can't see them selling to many of them honestly.
Dual woofer subs are always fun.- Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit. -
I agree, about not liking the grill.engtaz
I love how music can brighten up a bad day. -
That pic looks like a cartoon pic, doesn't necessarilly mean it will be exactly like that. Besides, you could always take the grill off.

though the grill is ugly, I bet your eyes would be rattling so bad you wouldn't be able to focus anyway.

Has anyone found a good review on the PB13 Ultra? I'm thinking of getting one to compliment my RT5000 system and replace an old PSW300 which can't keep up....____________________________________________________________

I could only wish, like Grimster said, they have a tenative ship date of around July.
Here is the reply I received from SVS in regards comparing the new Ultra to the JL f113.
This new SVS sub will pull pretty close to our old B4-Plus down low if you can believe it, and its incredibly linear in its response too. I conferred with Ed Mullen whos part time with R/D here and he made the following clear: The PB13-Ultra will have about the same mid/upper bass output capability as the F113, and will pull ahead below ~40 Hz, way ahead. By the time you get to 20hz it wouldnt even be remotely close, but this is not really a surprise considering the PB13-Ultra has a much larger cabinet and is also vented. Figure you would probably need a pair of the JL Audio subs to keep up down that low -
Close to the B4-Plus! This must be one heck of a driver. Who would need to wait for the PB13/2 if offered? I had hoped they would send out a demo unit to one of the review sites to get a head start on reviews for those of us waiting in anticipation. Coming from SVS, it ought to be a great sub and a far cry better than I am used to. Not a bad initial offering price either...____________________________________________________________
