"There are two optical digital inputs and only two electrical digital inputs." <---does this mean coaxial?

yeah, electrical usually means coaxial.

No pics. It was from a review of a HTR. I had not seen the phrase "electrical digital input." But then, I usually just look at the pictures. The writer was commenting that he thought that electrical digital inputs gave a better quality audio stream than optical.
