Oh how I could cuss my **** off,I just returned the console to walmart and got a new one,the other 360 console was freezing up,no rings of death and nothing would fix the problem.So here's the score,2 hd players,and one console now.Mr wally world associate told me that there are all of the sudden more 360 returns than he can count,I hope Sony doesn't encounter the same problem and microsoft goes out of buisness for being total idiots.This is getting out of hand.:mad:

    I set one up BNIB for a store demo on a friday. It was dead by monday morning. That was my first and only xbox experiance and it wasn't a good one. Aparently it's not a rare thing

    OH my God this is rich,I get up and put music cd in,guess what?Freeze! Put a game in-Freeze,re boot-Freeze,check all connections and nothing,HD player works fine through the console.I go into a primal rage and unplug the console and throw the bytch across the room,slap it around some, plug it in and wouldn't you know?It flippin' works now!So I'm LMAO!:rolleyes: :D :mad:

    agreed the cooling system is inefficient they should have put a true water cooling system in it if others can do an internal mod like that why cant they

    I really enjoy my 360 but honestly the build quality on these things worse than any other consumer electronic I have ever come across. It is pathetic.

    the fix is okay only for people out of warrenty tho alot of this stuff happens while still in warrenty .. when i get my box back that thing is gonna sit on a table top and NEVER be moved from that spot again maybe build a custom stand for it with a couple of quiet fans blowing into the vents. thats one big problem right there no matter if its horizontal or vertical the vents on the side its sitting on really don't have much room to breath because of the wimpy little feet they put on it

    Jesus.....My Wii runs like a champ, and it's been ran almost everyday for about eight weeks now....Most of the time for about 6-7 hours...God am I glad I got rid of that 360 when I did...

    This is amazing. I have a friend who bought the 360 two months ago, it died after a month. He's waiting for the "return" box. He lives in BFE. A month later he's still waiting. We joke about me telling him to buy a PS3. He laughs and gives me the finger.:D

    I was going to buy this neat little cooling fan for the Wii. It snaps right onto the USB. The salesman at EBgames said, "i play mine for 8 hours aday with absolutely no issues". OK, X the fan and give me the component cables.
    Dam, i have been enjoying my Wii. And waiting for LAIR on PS3.;)

    What is even more interesting is the PS2 clearly came in second. *My Opinion*(Absolutely the best console ever made. "Wisper"wisper"! Had mine on pre-order 4 months in advance. Seems like a long time ago.)

    Here's the new numbers all over the internet:
    DS sold the most hardware with 471,000 and Wii sold the second-most with 360,000 units.
    PlayStation 2 sold 194,000 units, PSP sold 183,000 following its April price drop, Xbox 360 sold 174,000, Game Boy Advance 84,000, PlayStation 3 82,000 and GameCube 13,000.
    Wonder how many 360's were replacements...........

    welp, despite m$'s shotty manufacturing, i think it's still the king of consoles. the damn thing's got me so hooked and appreciative, i went out and bought another one (temporarily) till my broken one gets fixed. then it can go back to m$ and hopefully lose a few dollars out of the deal.
