Looking for any info in particular? I have used a A52 and A23 with a LSi setup.

I have a denon avr 2807 and I am considering adding this amp. The Denon is rated at 110 wpc and the A52 at 125 wpc, Will I notice a difference in sound quality?

Greetings and welcome to the Club Polk Forums. I have similiar Parasound amps. You will find the amp to be a more refined smoother amp than your Denon receiver. Use the pre-outs on your Denon connect to the Parasound. Your front speakers will sound cleaner and more detailed than with your integrated receiver. Good luck and welcome!

I had azz backwards setup a while back, I had a B&K Ref 50 pre being run to a Yamaha HTR-5590 Receiver which was 100wpc. I was using Polk LSi speakers in a 7.1 setup.

Going from the Yamaha to a the A52 was a night and day difference. With music bass had improved greatly, voices sounded much more realistic, and I understood what a soundstage was for the first time. Imaging had improved greatly and there was less noise. As for movies it was a similar change, I noticed much more detail that I had never heard before, sound effects seemed to move much more fluidly around the room, and everything was cleaner. It was a very large change in both cases.

Wow, that is backazzed. I have the new classic series parasound amp and it is just outstanding. The Halo, though, was in another world altogether. If you can get it, go for it. Just be prepared to spend a lot of $$ keeping it fed with a good source. Upgrade fever strikes!

Hi, what about input > output sensitivity of the amp and the receiver ? Don't they need to be match ?

Makes no difference. Amplifier will do just what it was made to do, amplify a life level source.
