Infinity SM-85 Speakers

I purchased a set of Infinity SM-85 Speakers this weekend from a Yard Sale. Both sets are , I assume, blown. I removed all the speakers from their cabinets and hooked them up directly. None of them will create any sound. NONE. Not even static, so I assume they are blown. My question is where can I purchase replacement speakers? The cabinets are in great shape and I only paid $20, so I didn't really expect these to work. Will any 8" woofer and 1" tweeter work in these cabinets using the existing crossover's? The crosso ers seem to work when hooked up to different speakers. Recommendations?

Sell the tweeter, and get your money back.. I used to love infinity speakers, but then I found vintage Polk

Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
    Thanks

If you really wanted to you could look up some drivers on partsexpress throw the specs into winisd and see what you come up with useing the same volume as the infinity cabinets, don't for get that those enclosures are ported(if memory serves). I'd look for some peerless tweats to stick in there. You might be able to find out what the crossover point and slopes are by googleing for it. good luck, and have fun. I've been thinking about doing the same with my sm-100s even though the drivers still work in mine. I refoamed one woofer, and the other one has creases in it from my sons.
